Kazakhstan May Buy Gas Retailers in Europe With Gazprom

Kazakhstan, which plans to produce  80 billion cubic meters of gas by 2015, will consider buying gas retail assets in Europe with OAO Gazprom, according to Timur Kulibayev, the head of the KAZENERGY Association. 

``We're increasing cooperation with Gazprom to get access to the fuel for the final сonsumer in Europe,'' said Timur Kulibayev.   Kazakhstan is the holder of 1.7 percent of the world's natural gas. The Caspian Sea state borders Russia and China.
