Nursultan, Unit N is Kazakhstan's oil and gas field, located 75 km south of the city of Aktau on the Caspian Sea. The deposit area is 8100 square km. The deposit is included in project "N". The name is given to the field after the name of the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Nursultan consists of two parts: the main (west), Rakushechnoe - Sea (east). Oil and gas deposits are associated with Cretaceous and Jurassic-Triassic complexes. The water depth within the deposit varies from 0 to 340 m. The deepest part is in the south-eastern part of the field. At the crest of the field Nursultan the water depth is 29 m, Rakushechnoe Sea - 47 m.
The unit operator
The operator of the "N" project is KMG (51%). Other members is a U.S. oil company ConocoPhillips (24,5%) and the Arab state investment company Mubadala Development Company (24.5%).
Oil reserves vary widely from 1 to 6 billion tons of oil and gas reserves vary from 0.5 to 4 trillion m3 of natural gas.
